Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full-stack enterprise applications while driving solution architecture, cloud adoption, and application modernization initiatives.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Full Stack Java Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Angular, and modern full-stack development practices.

• Build and support RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and best practices.

• Design, optimize, and manage Oracle and MongoDB databases to ensure performance, scalability, and data integrity.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and software engineering best practices.

• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to CI/CD, automation, and application modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8-10 years of experience in full-stack application development using Java and modern web technologies.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Angular, RESTful APIs, Microservices, Oracle, MongoDB, and AWS cloud platforms.

• Proven experience in solution design, application modernization, CI/CD practices, production support, performance optimization, and mentoring development teams.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour
