Summary:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

We are seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy next-generation AI-powered applications that drive business innovation. This role combines full-stack software engineering, cloud-native development, machine learning, and generative AI to build scalable enterprise solutions.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with expertise in Python, React, Azure cloud technologies, AI/ML development, and modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Python and React
  • Build and consume REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
  • Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions using structured and unstructured datasets
  • Design and implement chatbots, AI assistants, and conversational AI platforms
  • Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications
  • Develop cloud-native solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms
  • Create scalable architectures supporting security, performance, and availability
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, data scientists, and business stakeholders
  • Implement DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
  • Work with relational, NoSQL, and vector databases
  • Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and solution design discussions

Key Requirements:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python

  • Experience building front-end applications with React

  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems

  • Hands-on Microsoft Azure development and deployment experience

  • Experience designing solutions in AWS and/or GCP

  • Experience building and deploying machine learning models

  • Experience with chatbots, conversational AI, or AI assistants

  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, security, scalability, and software design

  • Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and production support

  • Experience with relational, NoSQL, and vector databases

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure Machine Learning, Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps
  • AWS Lambda, SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Cloud Run
  • Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, NLP, RAG
