Dark Wolf is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support the United States Space Force (USSF). The role focuses on rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect and respond to both ground and space‑based cyber threats. The position is hybrid, requiring on‑site support at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO.ResponsibilitiesEvaluating current software architectures and implementing meaningful improvements to ensure a robust, field‑ready solution.Ensuring consistent submission of high‑quality, technically accurate products to the Government client.Providing strategic advice, technical expertise, and mentorship to program and project staff, performing all functional duties independently.Developing specialized tools to assess cyber vulnerabilities, prioritize cyber investments, and protect against unauthorized intrusion, corruption, and destruction of Space Force networks.Communicating clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy—both orally and in writing.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or a STEM‑related specialty plus 3 years' experience in full stack development.8+ years of relevant experience performing engineering activities in the Government (military and/or civil servant), federally funded research and development center, or in a profit, non‑profit, or contractor arena.Must have SAFe for Teams certification.AWS certifications (Associate Developer, & AWS Specialty Security within a year of start date) or ability to demonstrate AWS competence using the CLI and Boto.Experience in the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, and Angular.Familiarity and knowledge of: Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, Git, Linux, Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, Terraform, Artifactory, GitLab.Experience or knowledge in the following areas: network engineering, AWS Cloud, agile software development, agile methodologies, agile project management, software project management, defensive cyber military operations, software development life cycle management, program/project management, systems engineering, strategic planning, cross‑functional team collaboration.U.S. Citizen with a Top Secret security clearance.Desired QualificationsRelevant DoD and/or industry work experience in Space Systems Command.Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary range for this position is $155,000.00 - $180,000.00, commensurate with experience and technical skillset.EEO StatementWe are proud to be an EEO/AA employer and we welcome minorities, women, veterans, and people with disabilities in all job opportunities.
