Fulfillment Operations Associate (Material Handling & RF Scanning)
Location: Tacoma, WA — conveniently near a bus line
Hire Type: Full-Time
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd (Monday–Friday)
A day in this role
You clock in and jump right into the flow of the warehouse—moving product safely off trucks, confirming manifests, and inspecting items for damage. As orders drop, you’ll navigate aisles with an RF/RFID scanner or pick list, pull the right SKUs, pack with care, wrap pallets, and stage outbound shipments. Throughout the shift, you’ll help with cycle counts, top off inventory locations, and keep aisles clear of shrink wrap, pallets, and cardboard so the team can move quickly and safely.
Choose your path
- General Labor — Hands-on material handling and facility upkeep.
- Picker/Packer (RFID Scanner) — Order fulfillment using RF/RFID devices and WMS.
- Forklift Operator — Safe, efficient movement of pallets and loading/unloading.
Apply for the track that fits you. We’ll train motivated candidates; specific experience is only required for the role you select (e.g., forklift experience for forklift roles).
Pay ranges
- $18/hr — General Labor
- $19/hr — Pickers/Packers using an RFID Scanner
- $19–$21/hr — Forklift Operator (higher end with current certification)
Core responsibilities
- Receiving & Unloading: Unload trailers, verify shipment details, and check for damage.
- Picking & Packing: Use RF scanners or pick-lists to select items and package securely.
- Inventory Support: Perform cycle counts and replenish stock to align WMS with on-hand inventory.
- Shipping & Loading: Wrap pallets, label accurately, and load outbound trucks.
- Facility Care: Keep aisles clear and work areas tidy to support safety and productivity.
What you bring
- Experience: Prior warehouse/DC exposure preferred; we’re willing to train the right person.
- Physical readiness: Walk/stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Tech comfort: Familiar with RF scanners or WMS a plus.
- Safety first: Pallet jack know‑how; forklift certification is a strong advantage and can boost pay.
- Consistency: Reliable attendance and punctuality.
