You"ll be on the front lines of technology fulfillment for new Amazon sites - making sure every order is placed, tracked, and delivered so new facilities open complete and on schedule. If you want a role where your day-to-day execution work has visible, immediate impact on Amazon"s ability to grow its operations network, this is it.

As a Fulfillment Execution Specialist, you"ll support the technology supply chain for new site launches across North America. Your focus is execution: processing orders accurately, tracking shipments in real time, coordinating with suppliers, and making sure inventory is where it needs to be before construction teams need it. You"ll work within a team of specialists contributing directly to on-time, in-full delivery for every launch in your portfolio. The work is fast-paced, detail-oriented, and directly tied to whether a new facility opens on the date it was promised.

Key job responsibilities

  • Process and track technology fulfillment orders for new site launches, ensuring order accuracy and timely submission across all active projects.
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers and logistics partners, following up proactively to prevent delays that could impact go-live dates.
  • Monitor inventory levels across active launch portfolios, flagging shortages or discrepancies before they affect construction or deployment timelines.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records across order management and inventory systems, ensuring data integrity for reporting and decision-making.
  • Provide cross-functional teams with regular fulfillment status updates, supporting issue escalation and resolution as needed.

A day in the life

You start the day reviewing your open order queue - confirming submissions, verifying expected delivery dates, and noting any at-risk lines. Mid-morning, you"re following up on shipments with suppliers and updating delivery trackers. In the afternoon, you"re reconciling inventory data, generating status reports for active launches, and connecting with project leads on anything that needs escalation. The pace is consistent and the details matter - a missed line item today can become a go-live delay next week.

About the team

The Technology Fulfillment Services Execution team delivers the technology infrastructure that powers Amazon"s operations network. Every new facility that opens does so because this team handled the supply chain behind it. In North America alone, the team manages dozens of concurrent site launches each year. You"ll be part of a close-knit group of specialists focused on execution excellence, supporting each other to hit go-live dates and continuously improve the processes that make it happen

Amazon.com Inc

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
