The Fulfillment Center Assistant Manager oversees all daily operations of their facility when the fulfillment center manager is not present. This includes, but is not limited to, the receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely distribution of goods. Theyensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and inventory. They ensure productivity targets and service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and computerized inventory systems are properly maintained. The ability to lead a team, maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, and provide impeccable customer service to our clients is a must.
The role typically requires significant walking, and the ability to lift, push, and pull inventory. Regular movement around the mailroom, interacting with employees. Lifting up to 20 lbs, carrying/moving stock, using a pallet jack.
