SUMMARY:
The Document Specialist is responsible for fulfilling client estimates and orders for various corporate documents retrievals and filings. This position requires the individual to work with other team members to successfully complete all project requests in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. The Document Specialist must have excellent organizational and time-management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and professional levels of customer service and communication.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide direct support to and collaboration with other RASi corporate team members.
• Respond and resolve incoming vendor requests, queries, issues and concerns via phone and email.
• Efficiently manage the order process alongside other RASi corporate team members, from initial request through processing, and during follow-up investigations and order fulfillment.
• Responsible for obtaining certificates of status with both the state and/or revenue departments, conducting name availability and status searches, producing verbal bring-down reports, filing/tracking name reservations and registrations, as well as obtaining copies of miscellaneous public record documents.
• Responsible for corporate filings including, but not limited to the preparation, review and filing of: articles of incorporation/organization, amendments, DBA/assumed business names, newspaper publications, and annual reports.
• Any other duties of similar or lesser nature as required.

• Must be computer literate; Intermediate level skills with MS Office; Word, Excel and Outlook are required.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree and/or 1-2 years' experience in corporate services/registered agent industry.
