We provide quality resources in four specialty areas: Information Technology (IT), Clinical Research, Rehabilitation Therapy and Nursing.Job DescriptionJob Title: Fuel Cell Technician.Location: Malta, NY, 12020.Job Duration: 12 months (Possibility of Extension).Essential Responsibilities:Build, set up or modify experimental apparatus and test, calibrate and operate equipmentBuild, setup or modify large scale pilot production equipment including tooling, fixturing and inspection systemsPerform experiments, gather data and provide input to engineers on test conditions to help drive to a test resultReduce data to useful form by using appropriate mathematical techniques or spreadsheet calculationsMaintain test equipment and facilitiesMaintain accurate records of the work performed and other records as needed to support pilot operationsIdentify quality issues and work with the engineering team to diagnose root causes and make improvementsOrder materials as required to perform development dutiesPerform all work in accordance with EHS guidelines and raise any EHS issues to site leadershipDesired Characteristics:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fieldSolid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) testing experienceHigh-temperature experimental experienceExperience with reforming and / or steam systemsQualificationsAssociate's Degree in Engineering Sciences or related field, OR a High School Diploma or GED with at least 3+ years of industrial experienceLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job openingMust be willing to work out of an office located in Malta, NYPrior experience working with fuel cellsHands-on experience performing basic fabrication such as welding, grinding, machining, plumbingExperience troubleshooting electrical systemsDemonstrated basic understanding of global codes and standardsFeel free to forward my email to your friends/colleagues who might be available.
