The Opportunity

Based out of our Encinitas Commissary, you'll spend your day delivering fresh ingredients, food products, and restaurant supplies to our seven Leucadia Pizza locations using a company-owned box truck and/or company van.

Most days begin with a scheduled morning delivery route, followed by additional deliveries throughout the day to replenish inventory as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while playing an essential role in keeping our restaurants operating efficiently.

Please note: The Commissary Driver role is a physically demanding role.

Schedule

• Part-time position
• Typical shift: 8:00 AM – approximately 4:30 PM
• Operations run seven days per week
• Schedule will vary based on business needs

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a company box truck or company van to deliver food products and restaurant supplies
• Follow a consistent daily delivery route servicing all Leucadia Pizza restaurant locations
• Make additional deliveries throughout the day as inventory needs arise
• Load and unload products while following safe lifting procedures
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and completeness
• Communicate with restaurant managers regarding deliveries and inventory needs
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and operating safely
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and transportation procedures
• Support the commissary team with general warehouse or stocking duties as needed

What We're Looking For

• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous delivery, route driver, warehouse, logistics, or food service experience preferred
• Experience driving a box truck and/or company van is a plus
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Comfortable loading, unloading, and transporting food products safely
• Commitment to food safety and delivering excellent service to each restaurant

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Regularly enter and exit the delivery vehicle throughout the day
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs as needed
• Safely operate a box truck and/or company van during scheduled delivery routes
