This is a full time position. Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-6:30 pm

POSITION SUMMARY The Front Specialist is a multi-functional, fast paced, customer-oriented position. The incumbent may be responsible for one or more of the following: Customer Care Specialist, Backup Support, Cashier, File Room and/or Telephone Operator. Each of these responsibilities serves integral role in AH operations. One of your primary responsibilities is customer service and a team spirit.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet patients in a polite, prompt and helpful manner.
  • To receive and take accurate telephone messages.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to support team efforts to the organization.
  • Direct customers to the appropriate resources when necessary.
  • Assist patients with necessary paperwork as needed.
  • Completes necessary paperwork such as encounter forms; uses computer system to generate information necessary for billing
  • Informs appropriate nursing staff of the patients arrival.
  • Enters all information and verifies information for billing and records purposes.
