Front Front Office Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and parents with a warm, friendly, and energetic attitude
  • Manage scheduling and patient flow to keep the day running efficiently
  • Answer phones and texts, handle patient questions, and coordinate appointments
  • Verify insurance, submit claims, and assist with billing and payment collection
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records within our dental software
  • Review charts and documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with new patient intake and ensure all forms are completed properly
  • Work closely with the clinical team to keep appointments running on time
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment

Front Desk Representative Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Front office or similar role preferred
  • High school diploma 
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology, ADA coding, insurance billing, and claims processing
  • Experience verifying insurance benefits, submitting claims, and handling patient billing preferred
  • Comfortable using dental software (Oryx experience is a plus) and general computer systems
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail in scheduling, documentation, and insurance workflows
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a warm, upbeat attitude
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
  • A true people person—friendly, positive, and great with kids and parents
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently handle phones, texts, and in-person interactions
