Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise, support, and motivate front-of-house staff including cashiers, servers, and bartenders
  • Assigns stations, and duties to ensure efficient service flow
  • Monitors staff performance and provide coaching, feedback, and training
  • Trains and schedules team members
  • Handle employee concerns and escalate issues when necessary
  • Performers duties of cashier, server, and bartender as needed

Guest Experience

  • Ensure all guests receive friendly, prompt, and attentive service
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally
  • Maintain a welcoming, family-oriented environment
  • Ensures staffing meets guest flow requirements

Operations Management

  • Oversees opening and closing procedures
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining areas, bar, pool area and service stations
  • Monitor wait times and table turnover to maximize efficiency
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery

Cash Handling & Compliance

  • Supervise cashiers and oversee cash handling procedures
  • Ensure accuracy in transactions, register balancing, and end-of-shift reports
  • Enforce responsible alcohol service standards for bartenders
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

Inventory & Supplies

  • Monitor front-of-house supplies including the bar (menus, utensils, beverages, etc.)
  • Performs inventory, inventory control and ordering for front-of-house

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality leadership role preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong POS system and computer skills
  • Able to work a flexible schedule
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong business math and cash handling skills
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
