Front of House Shift Lead Responsibilities:

  • Leads shifts without any supervision.
  • Conducts employee disciplinary actions as needed and communicates severe employee performance and policy/procedure violations to the Directors.
  • Works with the Leadership Team to ensure appropriate daily restaurant staffing levels and provides input on the schedule and placement of Team Members.
  • Must be an excellent coach, communicator, and team builder.
  • Provides input on Team Member evaluations.
  • Delegates and verifies completion of daily and weekly checklists.
  • Works towards improving and maintaining our customer service scores.
  • Facilitates breaks for all Team Members.
  • Understands cash handling procedures.
  • Encourages, coaches, and rewards the team while holding them accountable.
  • Serves as subject matter expert for all tasks for the front-of-house.
  • All other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Shift Leader:

  • Previous leadership experience in quick-service or a comparable field
  • Proven ability to lead in fast-paced environments as part of a team
  • Basic computer competency
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes but is not limited to standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 50lbs.
