Overview:

A manager at Chick-fil-A Matteson has the responsibility for leading daily operations of a quick service restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including production, preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting, financial accountability, ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers and other duties as required. The person applying for this position must have excellent communication skills. Previous management/leadership experience is a must. You must be a minimum age of 18+ years old for this job. Starting pay is $21/hour and can expect to work 40-45 hours/week.

Position Key Responsibilities:

  • Own sales growth for the Night Team
  • Develop future leaders in the business
  • Inspire Team Culture through 1 on 1 coaching and training
  • Oversee and keep all policies and procedures up-to-date.
  • Own different restaurant functions: Food Safety, Throughput, Food Quality, etc.
  • Develop, maintain, lead, and complete corrective, disciplinary action, and termination processes.
  • Contribute to the leadership team's vision, strategy, and overall growth of the business.

Requirements 

  • Minimum 18+ years old
  • Have a proven track record of developing leaders
  • Minimum of 1+ years of leadership experience managing teams, executing business plans, balancing food and labor costs
  • Experience with developing talent, coaching, performance conversations, and progressive discipline
  • Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in the quick service, hospitality, and customer care industry

  • Must be willing and equipped to work outside
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 5 days including Friday and Saturday, minimum of 40 hours a week to full-time

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Inventory management
  • End-of-Month counts and input
  • Maintaining accurate transfer logs
  • Effective & efficient ordering
  • Maintaining a LEAN production environment
  • Coaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all kitchen and (or) Team Members
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment and facilities
  • Ensure all necessary preventative maintenance and cleaning on set schedule.
