Job Title: Front of House Manager

Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and personable Front of House (FOH) Manager to lead guest-facing operations at our independent Southwest-inspired restaurant. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality, managing the service team, and ensuring a seamless dining experience that reflects the bold, welcoming spirit of Southwest culture. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and has a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including dining room, bar, and host stand
Lead, train, and motivate FOH staff to deliver attentive and genuine hospitality
Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation are consistently maintained
Manage guest relations, handle feedback, and resolve issues with professionalism and care
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and service flow
Develop staff schedules, manage labor costs, and optimize team performance
Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of FOH team members
Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including Southwest-inspired dishes, cocktails, and beverages
Monitor service metrics such as table turn times, guest satisfaction, and sales performance
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
Qualifications:
3+ years of FOH management or supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proven track record of delivering high-quality guest experiences
Ability to stay organized and composed in a high-volume environment
Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant management software
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills:
Experience in independent or chef-driven restaurant environments
Familiarity with Southwest cuisine, culture, and hospitality style
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Wine, beer, or cocktail knowledge is highly desirable
