Position Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled  Front-End Web Designer/Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise web applications and digital solutions. This role will focus on delivering accessible, user-centered web experiences while ensuring consistency across enterprise platforms and applications.

Due to increasing demand from business stakeholders, additional support is needed to accelerate the development of solutions supporting critical business functions, including SharePoint reporting, ServiceNow interfaces, SAP integrations, Drupal Digital Commons initiatives, ferry automation systems, and other enterprise web requests. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing accessible, scalable, and reusable UI components while promoting a cohesive user experience across the organization's digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, enhance, and maintain web components, user interfaces, and interactive prototypes.
• Develop responsive and accessible web applications using HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Build and maintain reusable component libraries and design system assets to ensure consistency across enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce user interface standards and best practices.
• Integrate front-end solutions with enterprise platforms such as SAP, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and other business systems.
• Conduct accessibility reviews, testing, and remediation efforts to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.2+ standards.
• Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Support UX design initiatives by translating business requirements into intuitive, user-centered experiences.
• Deliver training sessions, webinars, and knowledge-sharing workshops for business users on newly developed applications, websites, and tools.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and workflow automation techniques to improve development efficiency and quality.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript development.
• 3+ years of experience with Vue.js.
• 4+ years of experience with state management using signals, reactive stores, or similar approaches.
• 3+ years of experience optimizing web application performance.
• 3+ years of experience designing and maintaining component libraries and design systems.
• 3+ years of experience applying accessibility standards and WCAG 2.2+ best practices.
• 3+ years of user experience (UX) design experience.
• 4+ years of experience integrating web applications with enterprise platforms such as SAP, ServiceNow, SharePoint, or similar systems.
• 1+ year of experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools and workflow automation.
• 4+ years of experience conducting website accessibility testing and remediation.
• 5+ years of experience creating semantic HTML and implementing accessibility-focused front-end architecture.
• 5+ years of experience with modern CSS methodologies, including Flexbox, Grid, CSS variables, responsive design, and theming.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience using Vite or similar modern front-end build tools.
