DPP is seeking a Front-end Developer for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.
 
Work location: Partial onsite Tues., Wed., Thurs. and as needed; remote Mon. and Fri.
Duration: 12 months
Terms: W2 contract
Other: Open to remote, no further west than Texas.
 
Position summary:
  • Daily activities may include developing and implementing new features and requirements; enhancing and maintaining existing codebases; designing and executing unit tests; validating and verifying code changes; troubleshooting and debugging production issues; and managing source code, builds, deployments, and releases across environments.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to adapt and effectively manage multiple concurrent work requests, and a proactive, self-motivated approach to learning and performance.
  • This role requires a collaborative team player who can also exhibit leadership qualities, take ownership of initiatives, and contribute positively to both team and organizational success. 
Required technologies:
  • JavaScript
  • HTML/CSS
  • Vue.js, Angular, or React 
Nice to have:
  • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • CI/CD pipeline 
Minimum required work experience:
  • 4 years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience 
About the team:
  • The Commercial Web team consists of 15 members, including two team leads, two system designers, and ten developers spanning a range of experience levels. They are responsible for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of member self-service portals, including the organization’s Toolkit mobile application.
  • Recently, the team completed a major technical rewrite of the web portal, modernizing the platform and aligning it with current technology stacks.
  • The team continuously delivers new features and enhancements to improve user experience and functionality. They are a highly diverse group in terms of ethnicity, personal backgrounds, and professional experience, with an impressive average tenure of 10 years with the organization. 
Required education/equivalencies:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
  • OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
  • OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 8 years without a degree)
