Front Desk Staff - Hamilton Y - Varied shifts

We are currently seeking Front Desk Staff for varying shifts:

Saturday 8am-1pm and 1pm-6pm

Sunday 9am-1pm and 1pm-5pm

Monday - Friday 12pm-5pm and 1pm-5pm

Responsibilities of a Front Desk Staff:

• Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants
• Build relationships and help members connect with each other and the YMCA
• Ensure facility security and enforce policies
• Conduct tours, sell memberships, and handle program registrations
• Accurately conduct financial transactions and resolve membership concerns
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Previous customer service, sales, or related experience
• Basic knowledge of computers

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
• Effective communication skills in person and on the phone

Training:

• Certification in CPR required within 60 days of hire
• New Employee Orientation required upon hire
