Receptionist at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Rockwall:
·The Receptionist interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff;
·Admits patients and processes their paperwork;
·Updates patient demographics/information in system;
·Collects monies due and document in the billing system; Handle funds per office procedure.
·Answer incoming phone calls.
Qualifications:
Education
·High school diploma or GED
Required Experience
·One-year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
·Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.
·Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
·Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial
·Good communication skills.
