Front Desk Receptionist

Position Summary
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers visiting or calling the dealership. This role is responsible for providing a welcoming experience, directing customers to the appropriate department, managing incoming calls, and supporting daily administrative functions. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet all customers and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department or team member.

  • Assist customers with general questions and basic dealership information.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and dealership communications.

  • Assist with data entry, filing, scanning, and other administrative tasks.

  • Monitor customer traffic and notify sales or service staff when customers arrive.

  • Support dealership events, promotions, and special projects as needed.

  • Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

  • Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers.
