Vital Orthopedic & Spine Institute in is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Patient Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our practice. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring every patient has a smooth, positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software
• Verify and send medical record requests
• Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information in EMR system
• Answer and route incoming phone calls, responding to patient inquiries in a timely manner
• Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations for orthopedic and spine procedures
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Requirements:

• 1+ years of front desk or patient coordinator experience in a medical or specialty practice
• Familiarity with orthopedic, spine, or musculoskeletal terminology is a plus
• HIPAA knowledge
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and general office software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first professional  attitude
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
