JOB DESCRIPTION
Front Desk Agent
- Assigns rooms and registers guests by verifying photo identification and establishing credit.
- Answers the Front Office and Reservation telephones.
- Is knowledgeable of types of rooms available as well as their location and layout.
- Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area.
- Uses subtle selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services.
- Completes room reservations using hotel computer/software system.
- Processes room reservation requests via fax, mail and e-mail during shift.
- Coordinates with Housekeeping and Guest Services staff to accommodate guest requests.

- Must have Front Desk, Front of House, or relevant customer service experience
-Quickly adapt to technology, and demonstrate problem solving ability
-Be detail-oriented and capable of effective written and verbal communication
-Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
-Must have excellent customer service skills
