    Position Details

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, organize, and execute engaging practice sessions focused on fundamental volleyball skills, rules, and team strategies.
    • Maintain proactive and clear communication with players, parents, and the Athletic Director regarding practice schedules, summer activities, contest travel, and team expectations.
    • Provide direct supervision of student-athletes in locker rooms, on buses, and at all team-related events to ensure a safe, respectful environment.
    • Act as a positive role model for student-athletes. Consistently and fairly enforce all school, athletic department, and team rules.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Previous volleyball coaching and/or playing experience is preferred.
    • Current AED/CPR certification required.
    • Must complete the mandatory annual MHSAA rules and regulations meeting. First-time coaches must complete CAP (Coaches Advancement Program) training per MHSAA guidelines.
    • Must successfully pass a district-required criminal history background check.
