The Station Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and profitability of the Dallas station, including logistics, sales, operations, customer service, and staff management. The role ensures the station meets service commitments, grows revenue, and operates in line with Logistics Company policies and procedures.
Salary range: $100,000 -$130,000
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the Dallas station. Generate own book of business and support the business of local Account Executives. Expected to spend 75% of time on sales.
- Manage and develop sales team.
- Own the station P&L: control costs, drive revenue growth and margin improvement.
- Maintain high standards of customer service.
- Partner with sales and corporate leadership to onboard new business, support RFPs, and implement customer SOPs at the station level.
Requirements
- Qualifications
- 10+ years of time-definite freight, air freight, and international sales experience with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Demonstrated experience in P&L management.
- Entrepreneurial spirit who wishes to run their own station.
- Proven people‑leadership skills: coaching, conflict resolution, and building high‑performing teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills, with the ability to work directly with shippers, consignees, and internal stakeholders.
Preferred
- Experience with Company customers (time‑definite & International ).
- Background in both operations and sales/account management is a plus.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Onsite role at the Dallas station; hands‑on presence in the office and with customers.
