About the Role:
Sight & Sound Productions is hiring Freelance Lighting Technicians to support our live event productions. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a passion for creating atmosphere and visual impact through lighting.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate lighting systems for live events
- Work with conventional, LED, and intelligent lighting fixtures
- Collaborate with the production team to design and execute lighting looks
- Assist with rigging, cabling, and power distribution as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of lighting experience in live events or theatre
- Proficiency with consoles such as MA, ETC, or Chamsys preferred
- Knowledge of DMX addressing, power distribution, and fixture maintenance
- Strong teamwork and time management skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work nights/weekends
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Availability for local travel
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
