We are seeking a Designer for children’s apparel in a midtown NYC office, with a 50% in-office and 50% remote schedule. The role is full-time for 3-6 months, with potential extension. The designer will manage the seasonal design process from concept to delivery, creating trend-appropriate designs for all sizes and genders, including sketching, manipulating CADs, and developing prints and patterns. Responsibilities include trend research, competitive analysis, fabric and trim selection, and managing design documentation in PLM systems. Qualifications include a fashion design degree, children’s apparel experience, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office, PLM, and strong garment construction knowledge.
