Our Client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for a FPGA Design/Verification Engineer for their Littleton, CO location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Work with low SWaP, radiation hardened, space rated devices.
  • Develop RTL/VHDL code, scripts, and other items required for the development of FPGAs, complete design and development, and provide self-test designer level testbench.
  • Collaborate with the Client  engineering team to debug or simulate Circuit ware with Xilinx development tools, deliver FPGA RTL source code changes, test data and documentation as needed.
  • Work with systems engineers and design engineers to develop concept of operations, design requirements, and assist verification engineers in the verification of FPGA designs.
  • Attend team meetings and reviews as needed. Complete or contribute to the design documentation in accordance with Client  processes, All data and drawings must remain exclusively on Client  Space internal networks or computing resources and protected according to guidance or training provided by Client .
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Experience synthesizing and building designs based on Microchip and Xilinx/AMD FPGA targets:
  • Ultra
  • Scale Plus
  • RT Polar fire
  • Versal
  • RTG4
  • Experience with Libero, Vivado, and Synopsys Tools (Simulation, Lint/CDC, and Synthesis)
  • Design experience using the following languages: Verilog, System Verilog, and VHDL
  • Quick learner, someone who can get up to speed quickly with current designs
  • Ability to quickly understand requirements documentation
  • Experience with debugging designs both in the lab and in simulation environment
  • Willingness to work with other teams to debug designs
  • Experience with Space Wire
  • Willingness to work on Circuit ware document for milestone review prep (Requirements documentation, analysis, presentation materials)
  • Experience using Python
  • Must posses 9+ years of experience, we are NOT looking for junior or mid level, only senior level candidates
