NOW HIRING | FP&A Manager — Multi-Unit QSR Franchise | Southfield, MI
The numbers tell the story. You'll be the one who writes it.
We're looking for a sharp, analytically driven FP&A Manager to join the corporate team of a fast-scaling, multi-unit QSR franchise organization headquartered in the Detroit metro area. This is a high-visibility finance role inside a growth-focused, entrepreneurial minded company adding roughly 7 new locations per year with a 30-unit development pipeline already in motion. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment, love turning operational data into strategic decisions, and want your work to have real impact — this is your seat.
Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 base | Performance bonus | Comprehensive medical, dental & vision | 401(k) with company match | HSA | Employee discount program
About the Organization
This franchise group operates 42+ active locations across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan — and is growing at a rate of approximately 7 new units per year with no signs of slowing. The organization blends operational discipline with a people-first, entrepreneurial culture and carries the backing of one of the fastest-growing QSR brands in the country, including best-in-class brand support, marketing, and supply chain infrastructure. As the platform continues to double in size, the finance function plays a critical role in supporting smart, sustainable growth.
What You'll Do
- Own the financial planning and analysis function across a 42+ unit multi-state cafe portfolio
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve financial models, forecasts, and budgets that support operational and strategic decision-making
- Analyze cafe-level and portfolio-wide P&L performance — identifying trends, variances, and opportunities across revenue, labor, COGS, and overhead
- Partner directly with operations leadership to translate financial data into actionable field-level insights
- Develop and present clear, concise financial reporting packages for ownership and senior leadership on a regular cadence
- Support new cafe opening pro formas, acquisition analysis, and development pipeline financial modeling
- Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecast cycles across all markets
- Build KPI dashboards and reporting tools that give leadership real-time visibility into business performance
- Identify cost reduction and margin improvement opportunities across the portfolio
- Work cross-functionally with operations, HR, and supply chain to ensure financial alignment across the organization
What You Bring
- 4+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience — multi-unit restaurant, retail, or franchise industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with restaurant or retail analytics platforms a plus
- Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance audiences
- Experience supporting multi-unit P&L management and unit-level financial performance analysis
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong communicator and collaborative partner who can work effectively across operations, finance, and ownership
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or CPA a plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset — you're comfortable building processes, not just maintaining them
Why This Role
This organization is in active growth mode and the finance function is being built to scale alongside it. You'd be joining at a pivotal moment — with direct access to ownership, genuine influence on strategic decisions, and a clear path into senior finance leadership as the platform continues to expand. This is not a back-office role. Your work will be seen, valued, and acted on.
