Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the role partners closely with Operations, Commissary Leadership, Culinary, and Supply Chain teams to provide financial insights that improve profitability, efficiency, and decision‑making.Key ResponsibilitiesCommissary Costing & Profitability AnalysisOwn recipe and product costing models, including ingredients, packaging, production labor, and distribution costs.Partner with Culinary and Commissary teams to evaluate new products, recipe changes, and menu innovation through a financial lens.Develop and maintain standard costing methodologies to improve visibility into product‑level profitability.Support menu pricing decisions through detailed margin and cost analysis.Production Forecasting & Capacity PlanningPartner with Commissary and Operations teams to develop production forecasts based on sales trends, seasonality, and growth plans.Analyze production volumes, yields, and labor requirements to improve forecasting accuracy.Support capacity planning and investment decisions related to commissary growth and expansion.Supply Chain FinanceMonitor commodity, ingredient, packaging, and freight costs and assess impacts on margins.Develop reporting on key supply‑chain metrics including purchasing trends, inventory performance, waste, and distribution costs.Partner with Supply Chain leadership to identify cost‑saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.Operational Performance & EfficiencyAnalyze commissary labor productivity, throughput, yields, waste, and other key operational metrics.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability across commissary operations.Build financial models that quantify the impact of process improvements and operational initiatives.Financial Planning & ForecastingSupport company‑wide budgeting and forecasting processes with a focus on commissary, supply chain, and cost of goods sold.Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic planning and decision‑making.Monitor actual results against forecasts and provide actionable insights to leadership.Management Reporting & Decision SupportBuild and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting packages that provide visibility into commissary and supply‑chain performance.Present financial analyses and recommendations to Commissary Leadership, Operations, and Executive Management.Support board, investor, and leadership reporting related to gross margin performance, supply‑chain initiatives, and operational investments.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.5+ years of experience in FP&A, operational finance, supply‑chain finance, manufacturing finance, or related analytical roles.Experience supporting food production, commissary operations, restaurant groups, consumer packaged goods, distribution, or multi‑unit retail businesses strongly preferred.Strong understanding of cost accounting, product costing, inventory, labor analysis, and gross margin management.Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills with expertise in Excel and business intelligence/reporting tools.Experience building forecasts, operational dashboards, and KPI reporting.Ability to partner effectively with both operational and finance teams.Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial information into actionable operational insights.High level of ownership, attention to detail, and continuous improvement mindset.Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours.
