Description

A pharma organization is seeking an FP&A Analyst to support financial close, forecasting, reporting, and process improvement efforts in a remote role based in Texas. This position partners with finance and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate analysis, timely approvals, and actionable insights.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Hours: Standard business hours
  • Setting: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Support month-end actuals and budget-versus-actual reporting, including data validation, variance analysis, and management-ready commentary.
  • Assist with preparation and validation of financial reporting and close deliverables to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support approval workflows for contracts, purchase orders, and spend requests to align with budgets, forecasts, and internal policies.
  • Partner with FP&A leads and functional stakeholders on spend management, budget availability, and financial implications of purchasing decisions.
  • Develop financial analyses, forecasting support, scenario analysis, and ad hoc reporting to inform management decisions and improve finance processes.

Qualifications:

  • 7 to 10 years of progressive finance experience with experience across both FP&A and Accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of month-end close processes, accrual accounting, and financial controls
  • Hands-on experience supporting forecasts, budgets, scenario analysis, and management reporting
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, and planning tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively with non-finance stakeholders

Desired Skills:

  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Adaptive, Power BI, Oracle, and PowerPoint
  • Prior contract or consulting experience
  • Public company or high-growth environment experience
