About the Role

As an FP&A Analyst for Automotive Strategic Business Units (SBU) reporting you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the financial forecasting and reporting processes for Automotive Car Audio SBU, ensuring alignment with Global Automotive FP&A processes and practices.

You will report to the Automotive Director, FP&A (Consolidation, Reporting & Forecasting), and will partner closely with the SBU controlling lead and other functional leads within Finance, serving as the primary contact for Car Audio SBU Financial Reporting.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare standard SBU financial reports including Allocated SBU P&L utilizing SAP-BPC COPA

  • Partner with SBU Controller to drive SBU performance management and improvements.

  • Perform Ad-Hoc analysis, scenario modeling, and other FP&A support for the SBU.

  • Create and Prepare Monthly SBU Financial review deck.

  • Partner with Sales Excellence, SIOP, and CBU controlling to understand key revenue drivers (vehicle volume, take rates, pricing, APR, etc..) for forecast, budget, and actual sales.

  • Utilize SAP-BW to prepare sales and standard margin analysis variance explanations for actuals vs. budget and forecast.

  • Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, and SG&A Controlling to prepare functional cost variance analysis vs. Budget and Forecast for the SBU.

  • Support inquiry requests from Corporate Finance and Samsung Finance management teams.

  • Perform Currency analysis.

  • Prepare standard reporting templates utilizing SAP-BPC, OneStream, SAP-BW, and other reporting tools.

  • Assist in preparation of quarterly audit packages.

  • Assist with preparation of Automotive Operational Financial review deck.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.

  • 5+ years related experience including preparing financial statements, business activity reports and financial position forecasts and variance analysis.

  • Well versed in budgeting and forecasting end-to-end processes.

  • Experience in multinational manufacturing companies preferred; HARMAN/Samsung experience a plus.

  • Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and reporting tools expertise.

  • Proficiency with ERP/FP&A systems.

  • Ability to work across time zones and collaborate in a global matrix environment.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Masters degree in finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.

  • Experience at an automotive supplier doing similar work.

  • Refined business acumen and honed skills influencing leaders and stakeholders.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.

  • A mindset of continuous improvement and execution.
