The Financial Planning & Analyst supports the finance and sales teams in driving data-informed decisions through accurate pricing, profitability analysis, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for an analytical and detail-oriented individual eager to grow in corporate finance. The analyst will play a key role in evaluating product margins, tracking financial performance, and contributing to cross-functional business reviews. This is a hands-on position with exposure to forecasting, cost modeling, and routine accounting activities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pricing & Profitability Analysis
  • Support product pricing analysis and margin evaluation.
  • Work closely with sales and finance teams to analyze cost structures and profitability by product, customer, or region.
  • Help build and maintain pricing models for new or existing products.
• Financial Reporting & Forecasting Support
  • Assist in preparing regular financial reports (monthly/quarterly/yearly), including revenue, gross margin, and variance analysis.
  • Participate in financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Help monitor actual performance vs. budget and provide basic variance explanations.
• Sales Data Analysis & Business Support
  • Track and analyze sales data across different channels or product lines.
  • Prepare dashboards and sales performance reports for leadership and sales teams.
  • Assist in data preparation and insights for business reviews or customer meetings.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work with finance, sales, operations, and supply chain to collect relevant data and ensure consistency in reporting.
  • Provide analytical support for business decisions (e.g., customer pricing approval, cost analysis).
• Ad Hoc Analysis & Tools Development
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis based on business needs (e.g., pricing scenario simulation, cost impact evaluation).
  • Assist in improving internal Excel tools or templates to streamline recurring reporting tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, pricing, or business support
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts); experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus
• Basic understanding of cost/profit structures and financial statements
• Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, and communication skills

• Bilingual in Mandarin & English is preferred but not mandatory
