We're not looking for someone to inherit a sales organization—we're looking for someone to build one.

This is a rare opportunity for a senior enterprise sales executive with deep expertise in the healthcare payer ecosystem to become the founding commercial leader for an innovative healthcare analytics platform focused on specialty pharmacy and high-cost specialty therapies.

Backed by an established healthcare organization, you'll have the stability and resources of a market leader while enjoying the autonomy and entrepreneurial opportunity of building the commercial function from the ground up.

We're seeking a proven enterprise hunter who understands how health plans, PBMs, specialty pharmacies, and pharmaceutical manufacturers work together - someone who has successfully developed executive relationships, created pipeline, and closed complex enterprise opportunities within this ecosystem.

This is not a traditional executive leadership role. Initially, you'll be the commercial engine of the organization, responsible for building relationships, generating opportunities, managing long enterprise sales cycles, and helping shape the company's go-to-market strategy before ultimately building a commercial team.

What You'll Do
  • Build and execute the enterprise sales strategy from the ground up.
  • Personally develop and close net-new business with health plans, PBMs, specialty pharmacy organizations, and pharmaceutical

manufacturers.
  • Build executive relationships with payer and pharmaceutical stakeholders, including pharmacy leadership, market access, managed

care, and value-based care executives.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles (typically 6–18 months) from prospecting through contract execution.
  • Present compelling business cases demonstrating the clinical, operational, and financial value of healthcare analytics and specialty

pharmacy solutions.
  • Partner directly with executive leadership to refine commercial strategy, messaging, and market positioning.
  • Help build and scale the commercial organization as the business grows.

What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of enterprise healthcare sales, business development, national accounts, managed markets, or market access experience.
  • Proven success selling directly into health plans, PBMs, managed care organizations, or pharmaceutical manufacturers.
  • Strong understanding of the payer ecosystem, including specialty pharmacy, pharmacy benefits, medical benefits, reimbursement,

market access, and value-based care.
  • Experience selling healthcare analytics, specialty pharmacy solutions, healthcare technology, claims analytics, pharmacy analytics, or

other complex enterprise healthcare solutions.
  • Demonstrated success creating pipeline from scratch and closing strategic enterprise opportunities.
  • Existing executive relationships within payer organizations strongly preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a startup-style environment where you'll initially wear multiple hats.
  • Outstanding executive presentation, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills.
