We are seeking a founding CTO in San Francisco, CA (on-site) to lead our technical vision and infrastructure for a groundbreaking AI-driven platform focused on trust, networks, and large-scale user engagement.
The role involves owning end-to-end architecture, working across full stack systems including AI/LLMs, shipping rapidly, and building a scalable foundation for 0 to 10M+ users. You will recruit and mentor the engineering team, partner with the founder on product decisions, and eventually lead the SF engineering hub.
Qualifications include 5+ years in backend and infrastructure, experience scaling products, AI/LLM expertise, and a founder mentality with a passion for building teams and long-term architecture. Location in SF and hands-on coding are essential. Nice-to-haves include graph systems and real-time data pipelines.
