Description

Job Overview:

Pay Range $50hr - $55hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 6+ years of experience in Java/JEE application development.
  • Strong experience developing applications using multi-tier and distributed architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Java/JEE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP Web Services, Hibernate, SQL, Tomcat, and Application Servers (WebSphere).
  • Strong experience in API design, development, and integration.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP); AWS experience is also beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native application development and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins, SonarQube, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Good understanding of UML, software architecture, design patterns, and application design principles.
  • Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI specifications, JSON payloads, and RESTful services.
  • Experience with database design, optimization, and integration.
  • Strong experience in responsive design and cross-browser web application development.
  • Experience in unit and integration testing using JUnit and related testing frameworks.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain active relationships with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements, drive solution design, and review deliverables.
  • Lead requirement gathering and technical Client sessions with customer and internal teams.
  • Own backlog items and coordinate with team members to deliver features planned for each sprint.
  • Perform technical design reviews, code reviews, and architecture assessments.
  • Develop, prototype, and troubleshoot applications across user interface, service, and integration layers.
  • Build proof-of-concepts (POCs), prototypes, and MVP solutions to validate business requirements and technical approaches.
  • Work directly with client stakeholders to analyze business problems and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Design and implement cloud-native applications and integrations leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, Architecture, Security, and Business teams.
  • Drive solution optimization, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform peer reviews on source code to ensure reusability, scalability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Participate in technical discussions focused on software architecture, user experience, design patterns, and development standards.
  • Support production deployments, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
  • Demonstrate solutions, features, and technical capabilities to customers and stakeholders.
  • Act as a technical consultant and trusted advisor to customer teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to project teams.
