Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our warehouse and distribution team. This position is responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and organize products efficiently within the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment throughout the facility.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Move materials and products to designated storage or production areas.
• Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate records of product movement.
• Inspect shipments for damage and verify quantities against shipping documentation.
• Maintain organized warehouse storage areas and ensure materials are properly labeled.
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse, shipping, and production teams.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus; training may be provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Basic computer and scanning system experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.
