Picker / Sit-Down Forklift Operator
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Thursday | 5:00 AM-3:30 PM
Overtime: Occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays (1-3 times per month)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Requirements:
- Previous sit-down forklift experience required
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems
- Ability to read and follow pick lists and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Picker / Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse operations by pulling, staging, and preparing materials for production and shipment. This position is responsible for operating a sit-down forklift, accurately picking products, maintaining inventory accuracy with RF scanners, and ensuring materials are staged according to production schedules. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate a sit-down forklift to retrieve, transport, and stage materials
- Pull products accurately according to pick lists and production requirements
- Load products onto trucks for shipment
- Move materials safely throughout the warehouse while following all safety procedures
- Use RF scanners to record inventory transactions and track product movement
- Verify materials and quantities before staging or shipping
- Maintain inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies or damaged products
- Ensure products are staged correctly and ready for production or shipment
- Work closely with warehouse and production teams to meet daily schedules
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned
Additional Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize work and meet productivity goals
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety
