Job Description
The Forklift Operator will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating forklift equipment, primarily a reach truck, to transport materials within the warehouse. This role demands attention to detail and adherence to warehouse safety standards to ensure smooth operations and maintain a secure work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate reach truck forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Ensure safe and efficient handling of materials and products in the warehouse.
- Maintain compliance with warehouse safety protocols and guidelines.
- Inspect forklift equipment before use to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse operations.
- Demonstrated forklift operation skills, particularly with reach trucks.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Excellent attention to detail in handling products and inventory.
