We are seeking a Forklift Operator to efficiently handle freight by loading, unloading, and sorting shipments using motorized and manual equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. The role requires safe operation, adherence to safety policies, and the ability to scan and track shipments with mobile devices. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, able to perform basic math, and flexible to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. Preferred experience includes warehouse or dock work, forklift operation in freight environments, and trailer loading/unloading. Physical requirements include lifting up to 70 lbs., standing, reaching, bending, and working in a non-climate-controlled dock area. Compensation ranges from $26.05 to $32.04 per hour, with benefits available for those working 30+ hours weekly. This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and attention to detail. Qualified applicants will be considered regardless of protected status, and pre-employment drug testing may be required.
