As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring efficient movement and storage of materials to support our daily production and distribution needs!

Compensation:

+ Starting at $21 an hour with a $1 shift differential

Shift Availability: 

+ 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

What you’ll do… 

+ Meet KPIs for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service

+ Follow safety regulations and quality standards

+ Operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move, stack, load, and unload materials

+ Manage customer requirements and storage logistics

+ Ensure damage-free stacking of products

+ Coordinate with departments for effective inventory management  

What you’ll need...

+ Six (6) months relevant experience, previous experience operating a clamp truck, preferred

+ Ability to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) license

+ Ability to demonstrate basic math calculations and dimensional counting skills

+ Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues

The Dart story begins with a small machine shop in Mason, Michigan known as Dart Manufacturing Company. Established in 1937, this modest business prospered through the manufacture of such products as plastic key cases, steel tape measures, and identification tags for the armed services.
