This Forklift Operator position is a 12-month assignment paying $17.50/hr on W2 without benefits, located at 14419 N. White & Parker Road, Maricopa, AZ. The shift runs from 5 am to 1:30 pm.
Job Summary: Responsible for safely operating forklifts and heavy equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within the facility.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Climb on/off equipment
- Work in dusty, hot, or cold environments
- Effective communication
- Basic math skills and English literacy
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays
Major Duties:
- Perform safety checks and fluid level inspections of forklifts
- Manage pallet inventory and ensure proper storage
- Operate stretch-wrapper and handle palletized bags
- Maintain cleanliness and organize work area
- Read and communicate BOLs accurately
- Conduct physical inventory counts and meet quality standards
- Ensure safe forklift operation and proper fluid levels
