Forklift Operator (ID #480729)

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to handle the loading, unloading, and transportation of large industrial or commercial tires within our warehouse and yard areas. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts to manage oversized or heavy materials, maintain safe work practices, and support warehouse operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to transport large tires safely and efficiently.

• Load and unload tires from trucks, trailers, or storage racks.

• Inspect tires for damage during handling and report any issues to supervisors.

• Secure tires for safe transport and ensure proper stacking or placement.

• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance issues.

• Assist with general warehouse tasks when needed (e.g., organizing inventory, cleaning work areas).

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• Valid forklift certification and proven experience (minimum 1–2 years preferred).

• Experience handling oversized or heavy items is a strong advantage.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

• Strong attention to safety and detail.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual English/Spanish
   

Work Environment:

• Indoor/outdoor warehouse and yard settings.

• May be exposed to varying temperatures, dust, and noise.
