Job Summary: Agate Steel is looking for experienced structural steel forklift drivers. Agate Steel's forklifts have 36,000 lbs capacity. Must possess highstructural steel forklift skill requirements - Not a warehouse forklift position! Must have prior experience with steel moving/loading/unloading safely onto equipment, and semi-trucks. The forklift driver is responsible for safely moving 40-70 foot beams in Agate Steel's outdoor steel yard. Only apply if you have experience with heavy steel forklift driving.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate 36,000 lbs forklift to move raw structural steel profiles and completed projects and on/off truck.
• Safely move large steel beams between staging areas
• Accurately stages material for loading as directed
• Label product for inventory and manufacturing
• Complete daily paperwork including inspection checklist for Forklifts
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and understanding of units of measure
• Comfortable working majority of shift in outdoor environment
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to read and interpret manifests, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
