Job Description
Pay: $18–$19/hr
Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd available Mon-Fri with some Saturdays
Location: Chelsea, MA
About the Role
We’re hiring multiple Forklift Operators to support our food manufacturing clients in the Chelsea area. Must be reliable, safety‐focused, and comfortable working in a fast‐paced production setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate stand‐up forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and production lines
- Maintain accurate inventory movement through scanning or documentation
- Follow all food safety, GMP, and facility sanitation guidelines
- Inspect forklifts before use and report any mechanical issues
- Support general warehouse or production tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Order Picking
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent standup forklift operating experience
- Valid forklift certification
- Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
