The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating an industrial forklift to move, organize, and load finished products and raw materials, ensuring accurate inventory control and efficient workflow.
- Operate forklifts to transfer, process, and load steel and other goods following safety protocols.
- Assist in feeding production lines and preparing shipments, maintaining proper storage and record-keeping.
- Inspect and maintain equipment, promote safety standards, and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Perform related duties as assigned, working independently in a high-paced industrial environment.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, attention to detail, good communication skills, and physical ability to lift up to 65 lbs. The role requires working in an industrial setting with PPE and extended hours as needed.
