Forklift Operator – Overnight Shift Location: Russells Point Schedule: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM Shift: Overnight / 3rd Shift Pay Rate: $21/hr Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations during the overnight shift. This role is responsible for safely moving materials throughout the facility, supporting shipping and receiving activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring all equipment is operated according to company safety standards. The ideal candidate has prior forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and dock loaders to move, load, and unload materials and products Read and interpret production schedules, shipping orders, work orders, and customer requests to prioritize material handling tasks Pick, stage, and distribute materials to designated production or warehouse areas Maintain accurate inventory records by recording quantities received, moved, and distributed Perform daily equipment inspections and ensure forklifts and tools remain clean and operational Report equipment malfunctions, damages, or safety concerns immediately Follow all company safety procedures, operating guidelines, and warehouse policies Support general warehouse operations, including housekeeping and organization tasks Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse or production environment required Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification Basic math and data entry skills Ability to read and understand work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety Dependable with the ability to work independently during overnight operations Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate equipment for extended periods Comfortable working in warehouse or production environments with varying temperatures
