Position Summary
The Forklift Operator is responsible for providing internal movement of product (work in process or finish goods) throughout the manufacturing plant.
What You’ll Do- Safely load and unload trucks with raw materials and fineblanked parts.
- Maintain and update appropriate records for movement of raw materials and finished parts from one operation to another.
- Supply presses with materials and remove parts from workstations to next operation.
- Empty scrap containers and deliver to outside scrap hoppers.
- Keep aisles clear and clean at all times.
- Enter warehouse inventory data correctly into the ERP system.
- Monitor warehouse inventory.
- Operate a tow motor (forklift).
- Accurately input data into the ERP system.
- Keep warehouse clean and orderly.
- Assist in monthly warehouse inventory.
What You Bring- Graduation from high school or receipt of equivalent degree (GED).
- Ability to operate a tow motor, with required training and license.
- Ability to operate a forklift scale.
- Strong safety awareness
