Forklift Mechanic and Shop Forman

All candidates will be required to undergo a criminal, drug screening and motor vehicle background check. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: Diagnose & repair IC forklifts (gas, LPG, diesel).

Forklift Mechanic (Shop) — $35–$45/hr. + OT + Bonus
Edison, NJ 08837

• Steady Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Shop Role)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Diagnose & repair IC forklifts (gas, LPG, diesel)
• Troubleshoot and repair electric forklifts (wiring, batteries, chargers)
• Handle major repairs (engines, transmissions, hydraulics)
• Complete PMs and repairs efficiently
• Use diagnostic tools + write up clear work orders
• (For senior techs) Help guide junior mechanics

 
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• At least 3+ years as a forklift, heavy equipment, or diesel mechanic
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Comfortable with both mechanical + electrical systems
• Able to work independently and on a team
• Supervisory experience a plus
