Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment. Duties

• Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers and clamp trucks, to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
• Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking and storage in designated areas.
• Assist with order picking and packing as required, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain an organized and clean work environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment and handling materials.
• Engage in heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
• Familiarity with various types of material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and order pickers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail for accurate order fulfillment and inventory management.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisor role is a plus.
