We have been making quality beverages for the Midwest since 1872 and supplying them from 14 distribution centers across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
Position Summary: To be able to build loads in an orderly, safe, and time-efficient manner.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Wait on customers picking up products from the warehouse
Replenish product in staging areas
Organize product so trucks can be loaded efficiently
Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
Education/Experience:
High-School Diploma/GED
Must be 18 years of age
Previous Forklift experience is preferred
Required Skills/Abilities:
Communication Skills
Dexterity Skills
Must be able to learn all jobs on the dock
Ability to operate a forklift
Ability to obtain Chesterman Co. forklift certification
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to read, speak, and write in English to be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers and to operate equipment
Work Environment: Warehouse work environment. Temperature can be very hot and humid during the warmer months. May work extended days and hours to complete loading.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, reaching, reaching, sitting, kneeling and squatting
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
Ability to push/pull <75 lbs
Ability to lift/carry <75 lbs
Job Status: Part Time
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 3pm-8pm most days with some later days during peak season
